When I was coming out in 1997, all I wanted was to dress in my flavor of comfort and style, radiating the feelings coursing through me in any way I can. One of those ways was through my clothing. But I was scared and ashamed wearing my boyish threads. For seconds each day, I could look in the mirror and feel the amazing joy underneath the fear. Now, a couple of decades later, (and a regular practice in living my authentic self) I am excited to launch a company that was born from the ashes of a lie that once was.
